The games are back!

The Bigwave Business Games are returning to Exeter for their tenth year. Participants can expect two months of fierce, fun competition, kickstarting with the launch event on March 6th.

The Bigwave Business Games – named after founders and south west marketing agency, Bigwave media – is an annual competition consisting of several lighthearted, teambuilding events. A hugely popular annual event, the games are supported by Olympian Jo Pavey and this year expanded to include a second programme in Torbay.

The Exeter launch event will give organisations a fantastic chance to learn more about the games and competing companies. The actual Business Games will then follow in May and June. From a pub quiz to bell boat racing, each event will play host to employees from each organisation who will battle it out to reach the top of the leaderboard.

The games will provide participating businesses with an unparalleled opportunity to network with local organisations, improve staff morale, raise money for local charities and boost their profile across the region. Furthermore, the events, which are largely active in nature, will support organisations in their commitment to encourage a healthy workforce.

Debbi Moore, Principle Organiser of the games and Head of Client Experience at Bigwave media said:

“We’re really excited to be in the tenth year of the Business Games – it’s gone by so fast and we’re tremendously pleased with the level of ongoing support and participation

The Bigwave Business Games are a brilliant opportunity for businesses to network and get involved in fun activities outside the workplace. The 2019 Games promise to be a fantastic experience, offering a mixed bag of fun events in the city while raising money for worthwhile local charities.”
